After gin – we love GINSENG:

Ginseng is one of the natural world’s most powerful energy tonics, and has been used for nearly 5,000 years for its strengthening and rejuvenating properties.

‘retox’ – now detox:

Freshly squeezed juice is an easy way of upping your vitamin intake.  Use carrot, apple, celery and ginger to add a zing. The celery contains various antioxidant compounds that will help neutralise the effects of smoke you may have been near, while the ginger will help relieve any nausea, stomach-ache.

Time for tea not tequila:

That first cup will give you the mood-boost you may need, but don’t believe that 10 cups means 10 times the effect. Only a small amount of caffeine will be enough to deliver the maximum kick.

Bathe then bed:

You’ve made it through the day!  Make sure you rejuvenate by adding Epsom salts (magnesium sulphate) and a few drops of lavender essential oil to your bath. Epsom salts bath are a great detoxifier, the hot water draws toxins out of the body, a process intensified by the salts.
