Congratulations! You are about to make a positive change to your life. Not only will you lose weight, feel healthier and learn about portion control, you will also save time – allowing you to get on with your life.
As you probably know – reaching and maintaining a healthy weight is not only about what you eat – ok it is a big factor! – But what you drink, how often you exercise (and how happy you are) all play their part.
We recommend that you:
- Eat regularly and often. For example, if you eat breakfast at 7.30am and dinner at 7.30pm then you should have lunch half way through the day at 1.30pm and snacks at 11.30am and 4.30pm.
- We recommend 2 litres of mineral water per day. Avoid carbonated water and caffeinated drinks as they reduce the absorption of nutrients.
- Raise your heartbeat for an average of 30 minutes a day.
Some key things for you to know before you start:
We are not a fad diet. Our meals are perfectly balanced, scientifically analysed (lab coats at the ready!) and designed specifically for a sustainable approach to achieving weight loss. Each day you will receive the right balance of carbs, protein, fat and calories.
You will receive breakfast, lunch, dinner and 2 snacks for each day. We recommend you refrigerate all your meals on arrival. A menu is enclosed in each balance box which tells you what to eat when, how to heat up your meals, and what exactly is in each dish.
Your breakfast, lunch and snacks are designed to be eaten cold and on the go (you will receive a lovely “well balanced” jute bag to take your food around town with you!). Your dinner should be re-heated.
Your box will be waiting for you by 7am on a Monday (weekday box) and Friday (weekend box).
We would really appreciate it if you could help us to recycle! If you are receiving more than one box from us, please place your old box and all its contents (like the chilled foam insulation and ice packs) back where we delivered and our driver will collect this and replace it with your next box.
Rescheduling a delivery
As long as you give us the correct notice, you can easily reschedule deliveries if you are going away or if you simply want a break. You can reschedule your next weekday box by letting us know the Wednesday before by midday. To reschedule your next weekend box you will need to let us know by the Monday before at midday.
My balance box
You should have already received your username and password. This will give you direct access to your “my balance box” area. From here, you will be able to update your personal details (like delivery address, weight etc), reschedule deliveries, ask us lots of questions and most importantly feedback your thoughts to us.
