Congratulations! You are about to make a positive change to your life. Not only will you lose weight, feel healthier and learn about portion control, you will also save time – allowing you to get on with your life.
As you probably know – reaching and maintaining a healthy weight is not only about what you eat – ok it is a big factor! – But what you drink, how often you exercise (and how happy you are) all play their part.
We recommend that you:
- Eat regularly and often. For example, if you eat breakfast at 7.30am and dinner at 7.30pm then you should have lunch half way through the day at 1.30pm and snacks at 11.30am and 4.30pm.
- We recommend 2 litres of mineral water per day. Avoid carbonated water and caffeinated drinks as they reduce the absorption of nutrients.
- Raise your heartbeat for an average of 30 minutes a day.
Some key things for you to know before you start:
We are not a fad diet. Our meals are perfectly balanced, scientifically analysed (lab coats at the ready!) and designed specifically for a sustainable approach to achieving weight loss. Each day you will receive the right balance of carbs, protein, fat and calories.
Food and Deliveries
Our 3 day box is delivered on a Tuesday morning (between 8am and 10am) and includes food for Tuesday (lunch, dinner and snacks) and all meals for Wednesday, Thursday as well as your Friday breakfast.
Our 4 day box is delivered on a Friday morning (between 8am and 10am) and includes food for Friday (lunch, dinner and snacks) and all meals for Saturday, Sunday, Monday as well as your Tuesday breakfast.
Our courier will try to get your signature at the time of delivery, and your meals should be refrigerated by 10:30am on the day of delivery. A menu is enclosed in each balance box which tells you what to eat when, how to heat up your meals, and what exactly is in each dish.
Your breakfast, lunch and snacks are designed to be eaten cold and on the go (you will receive a lovely “well balanced” jute bag to take your food around town with you!). Your dinner should be re-heated.
We would really appreciate it if you could help us to recycle! Everything from the box, to the foam to the menu are recyclable and all can fold up quite nicely to place in your recycling bin. You can also keep and re-use the icepacks as you see fit.
Rescheduling a delivery
As long as you give us the correct notice, you can easily reschedule deliveries if you are going away or if you simply want a break. You can reschedule your next weekday box by letting us know the Wednesday before by midday. To reschedule your next weekend box you will need to let us know by the Monday before at midday.
My balance box
You should have already received your username and password. This will give you direct access to your “my balance box” area. From here, you will be able to update your personal details (like delivery address, weight etc), reschedule deliveries, ask us lots of questions and most importantly feedback your thoughts to us.
